Huntington National Bank Advisory Sales Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio

The individual in this role provides sales support and training on advisory programs to financial advisors, regional managers and branch personnel within Huntington's footprint.

The individual in this role:

  • Supports Financial Advisors in understanding, positioning and maintaining their books of advisory business

  • Coordinates regional and individual meetings, webinars and calls to increase FA's knowledge of managed money

  • Maintains current knowledge of industry practices, manager strategies and Envestnet capabilities

  • Cross trained with other members of the Product Management team to coordinate efforts to support advisor needs

  • Provides sales support and training for Huntington proprietary strategies

  • Frequent overnight travel is required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 or more years of managed money experience

  • Series 7 License

  • Series 65 or 66 License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Series 24 (can be obtained within 90 days of start date)

  • Deep understanding of all aspects of managed money including:

  • Comparing and contrasting manager strategies and advisory programs

  • Running an effective client meeting/annual review

  • Manager due diligence

  • Managed money pricing

  • Advisor best practices, e.g., defending fees in a down market, positioning advisory programs and strategies

  • Envestnet experience preferred

  • Strong customer service skills, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up

  • Ability to build and expand quality internal client relationships

  • Ability to multi-task
