As the primary contact for customers, Home Lending Advocates are committed to "doing the right thing" for our customers at all times.
Must have knowledge of mortgage loan products (Conventional, Government, HEQ and portfolio programs) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
Works closely with home lending specialists, customers and loan origination sources to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements.
Sends out requests via email and also regular phone calls with borrowers, and keeps interested parties advised as to the status of loan applications. Strong phone and writing skills. Must be able to portray a sense of urgency with borrowers via phone.
More complex (loan structure, pricing), and/or negative conversations with borrowers
Coordinates the request of additional information required from customers.
Responds to all Re-disclosures, answers questions and provides direction as necessary.
Reviews the pipeline management reports and loan origination system for adherence to scheduling requirements.
High School Diploma
1 or more years of mortgage banking processing experience with FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC.
Knowledge of mortgage loan products (conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, HEQ and portfolio programs) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
AUS, mortgage procedures, basic mortgage processing
Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented.
Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
PC and internet proficiency - loan origination software, imaging, Desk Top.
